ENYAN in partnership with EMPAF Regional Conference - 'Target led vs Young People led'

Friday 27th June, 10.30am - 3.30pm at The Y, Leicester. Cost is free but booking is essential.

‘Target Led Vs Young People Led’ is a FREE, regional, one day seminar, taking place at The Y Theatre in Leicester on Friday 27th June from 10.30am-3.30pm, which weighs-up the benefits and challenges of planning, and delivering, youth arts projects that are led by targets set by governing bodies, against those that are initiated and developed by young people.

ENYAN (English National Youth Arts Network) has teamed up with EMPAF (East Midlands Participatory Arts Forum) to bring you this extremely timely regional event.

The day will start with engaging and informative keynote speeches from Arts Council England East Midlands and case study examples of relevant projects from across the region including direct input from young people themselves. The afternoon will see a fresh approach to standard breakout sessions with an Open Space Debate on the subject of ‘Who’s Voice is it Anyway?’ which will enable delegates to bring up and discuss issues most relevant to them.

There will be plenty of time for networking and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to debate and learn more about a key issue facing the youth arts sector today, network, and build new partnerships throughout the East Midlands region

To book your free place (which includes lunch!) contact ENYAN Tel: 02380 630 960, Email: enyan2@artswork.org.uk
